We started with one second-hand espresso machine and a few tables borrowed from friends. The machine's been upgraded — the welcome hasn't.
Our beans come from a small roastery down the road, our eggs from a farm in Bristol & Bath, and our cakes from whoever's on the early shift. The menu changes with the seasons because we cook what's good right now.
Bring the dog, bring the laptop, bring your nan. There's always room for one more.

Best flat white in Bristol, hands down. The banana bread is dangerous — I now come in "just for a coffee" three times a week.
Brought the whole family for Sunday brunch. Staff were brilliant with the kids and the full works was proper hearty.
The Friday music nights are a gem. Cosy, relaxed and the small plates are seriously good. Book ahead!
