Mail Server Connectivity (Resolved)
Priority - Low
  • Affecting Server - EDZNET MAIN [THN]
  • We have had clients reporting that they are unable to access their email accounts, via IMAP/POP3 and SMTP.

    All systems are operational.

Please insure you are using the correct incoming and outgoing servers in your mail client, the format should always be mail.[your domain name] and not a IP or another server name to be able to access mail at the correct mail server linked to your hosting account.

To avoid having your IP address flagged as a hack attempt at the mail server please make sure you are using the correct username and password. A password is always required for both incoming and outgoing email settings.

Email Delivery Failure (Mimecast mail server recipients) (Resolved)
Priority - High
  • Affecting Server - EDZNET MAIN [THN]
  • We are aware of an issue when sending email to a mail domain that is hosted with Mimecast , we are attempting to resolve the issue with Mimecast  related to a false listing on their part.

If you receive a mail error response similar to the below:

    451 Internal resource temporarily unavailable - [fxS22_8KPMKG-W2Xz8iuvA.za98]

The quickest solution is to contact the recipient and request that their IT department contact their mail provider to have your Mail Server IP removed from the listing that is blocking your email. Requests from clients are handled a lot quicker from a Mimecast client than when a external party submits a delisting request.

You can find your server IP on the right hand side of your cPanel interface under: Dedicated IP Address or Shared IP Address

Account Migrations (Resolved)
Priority - Critical
  • Migration of all hosting accounts to new server in new data center.

Migration includes new IP range. * this includes any accounts on dedicated IP addresses, these will be issued with a new IP address *

If you have any external services pointing to a server IP addresses these will need to be updated once your accounts have been migrated.

We will post the new shared IP address here once migrations have been completed as this will not function until we have completed the migrations.

ATTENTION You will need to update any website that does not use our DNS servers like Securi, CloudFlare or any external hosted CDN services pointing to an A record with a current server IP.

If you have any queries or questions please let us know via a support request:

UPDATE 14-04-2022: All new accounts will automatically be created on the new servers and packages, any changes to current products will trigger a migration to the new servers. Please make sure that you are using the correct incoming and outgoing mail servers as available from your provided mail configuration and not default server names or IP's, this can be found under mail accounts in cPanel or from your webmail interface.

UPDATE 18-04-2022: All accounts have been migrate to new data center, some accounts will continue to proxy from the old Server IPS until end of business day on the 19-04-2022 - No action is required unless you receive an email informing you that you will need to make any changes to your externally hosted DNS.
