A neighbourhood kitchen, not a chain.

We started with one second-hand espresso machine and a few tables borrowed from friends. The machine's been upgraded — the welcome hasn't.

Our story

Made slowly, served with a smile.

Our beans come from a small roastery down the road, our eggs from a farm in KwaZulu-Natal, and our cakes from whoever's on the early shift. The menu changes with the seasons because we cook what's good right now.
