This Cookie Policy explains how EDZNET (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and client portal, and how you can control them.
In short: we use a small number of essential cookies to run the site and client portal. We use Google Analytics only if you choose “Accept all” on our cookie banner. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They let the site remember things between page loads, such as the fact that you are signed in. We also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way, to remember your cookie choice. In this policy, “cookies” covers both.

2.1 Strictly Necessary
These are needed for the website and client portal to work, so they don’t need your consent and can’t be switched off in our settings.

2.3 Analytics (only with your consent)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site, for example which pages are popular, so we can improve it. These cookies are only set if you choose “Accept all”.

If you choose “Essential only” or ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set, and any we set earlier are deleted. We use Google’s Consent Mode. With it, Google may still receive basic, cookieless signals (such as a page view) that carry no identifier and cannot be linked to you or to your other visits.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising, and Google’s advertising features are switched off. You can also block Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3. Third-Party Services
Some pages use services from other companies, which may set their own cookies under their own policies:
- Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal): may set cookies during checkout for secure payment processing and fraud prevention.

Google reCAPTCHA: protects our forms from spam and automated abuse. It may set the

Google may process data on servers outside the UK. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK’s data transfer framework.

We set strictly necessary cookies because they are essential to provide the service you have asked for. Preference cookies are set only when you take the action that needs them. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Our use of cookies follows the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), the UK GDPR and, for visitors in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (POPIA).

We may update this policy from time to time, and the “last updated” date above will change when we do. If we start using a new type of non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent again.
