How is the partner programme different from a WHM reseller account?
With a WHM reseller account you get one pool of storage and a fixed number of cPanel accounts, and you create and size them yourself. On the partner programme, each client gets their own EDZNET hosting package with its own resources, and you buy it at a discount. You don’t manage a server panel, and your clients get properly resourced hosting.
How is my discount worked out?
By the number of active hosting accounts you have with us: 10% from 3 accounts, 20% from 10 accounts, 30% from 25 accounts, 40% from 50 accounts, 50% from 100 accounts. New orders and accounts you move over from another host both count. The discount applies to the purchase and every renewal.
Who bills my clients?
You do. We bill you at the discounted price and you charge your clients whatever you like. Your clients don’t need an EDZNET account.
Who supports my clients?
You’re the first point of contact — help with website setup, email setup and everyday questions is part of the partnership. We handle the servers and anything server-side, just as we would for a direct customer, and you can raise a ticket with us whenever something goes beyond the account itself.
Can I suspend a client who hasn’t paid?
Yes. Partners can suspend and unsuspend their own clients’ accounts from the EDZNET client area, without opening a ticket. The site comes back the moment you unsuspend it.
Do my clients get full cPanel?
Yes. Every account has the same full cPanel access as a direct EDZNET customer, including email, databases, file manager, free SSL and the WordPress tools on the packages that include them.
Can you move my clients’ sites from another host?
Yes. We can migrate WordPress sites at a quoted price based on the size of the site. Once moved, those accounts count towards your discount tier.
When is custom branding available?
From 25 accounts. Get in touch and we’ll talk through what you’d like your clients to see.
