How to Log In to the Client Area, cPanel and Webmail Print

  • 0

EDZNET gives you three separate logins: the client area for your account and billing, cPanel for running your hosting, and webmail for reading email in a browser. This article explains which one to use for what, and what to do if you've forgotten a password.

The client area

The client area is where you pay invoices, open support tickets, order and renew services, and manage domains registered with us.

  1. Go to edznet.io/clientarea.php.
  2. Enter the email address and password you used when you signed up, then click Login.

cPanel

cPanel is the control panel for your hosting: email accounts, files, databases, DNS and SSL. There are two ways in.

  1. From the client area (easiest): open Services, choose your hosting plan and click Login to cPanel. You're logged straight in without needing the cPanel password.
  2. Directly: go to https://example.co.uk/cpanel (or https://example.co.uk:2083) and log in with the cPanel username and password from your hosting welcome email.

Webmail

  1. Go to https://example.co.uk/webmail (or https://example.co.uk:2096).
  2. Log in with your full email address (for example you@example.co.uk) and that mailbox's password.

WHM (reseller accounts only)

If you have a reseller plan, log in to WHM at https://example.co.uk:2087 with your reseller username and password, or use the login button on the service page in the client area.

Troubleshooting

If you get several passwords wrong in a row, the server firewall may block your IP address. You'll then find that cPanel, webmail or your website won't load at all from that connection, even with the right password. See Blocked by the firewall? How to get your IP unblocked.
